Inspired by my MFPal Justjoshin, I could use some happy tunes for today. I listen to a lot of different types of music and always love being introduced to new artists. What tune, that every time you hear it, puts a smile on your face and a pep in your step? I'll youtube anything you suggest.

    Not positive about the title but I think Faith HIll sings it. Feel Like a Woman is the main line that gets repeated. Makes me want to dance and smile. I also love Neal Hagberg and Leandra Peak's Rock in the River. They are MN folk singers who have sung at Carnigie Hall and around the world. The song is about the strength that women have inside. Not happy/silly but happy/I am woman, see my strength. Makes me proud to be a girl. Neal wrote it as a compliment to his mom and wife.

    Sunshine Smile by Adorable. Literally makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up every time I hear it. I've been listening to it for 20 years and it still does it. Could have something to do with Personal history with the song and when I first heard it but it's a whole lot of awesome all the same.
