My newest MFP friend

Ok guys.....This is not the first time I've posted this but now it is in honor of my newest friend on MFP.

She is the most amazing woman I know--wife, mother of 2 (her oldest has Down Syndrome), athlete and now she and her family are adopting a beautiful little girl from Russia who also has Down Syndrome. They are awaiting their travel date and will need to travel at least 3 times to Russia before their daughter can be brought home.

This costs tons of money. They do not have cable, internet, or many of the things people take for granted because they are committed to saving this beautiful child from a life of institutionalization.

I know that today is the tax day deadline and many of us are getting returns. If you could spare even a little from that to help this little girl get home it would mean the world to her and her future.

Imagine if even just a small percentage of people on MFP donated just $5 or $10 how the dreams of traveling sooner and her getting out of the orphanage sooner would happen. Please consider.....any size donation will help. I can't wait to meet my newest "niece" since our friends are now our family by choice.
