Pilates vs Weight Training

So, I'm trying to way the pros and cons. I'm nearing a milestone and want to ensure that I keep loosing the weight. I understand the benefits of both activities, but was curious if one method is better to keep the metabolism going, along with my cardio routine and calorie counts.
