Did you weigh in at the same time and under the same circumstances? (Minimal amount of clothes in the morning, for example). But my weight changes a lot during the day, mostly due to water weight. Sometimes by about 5 lbs depending on what else I've had. But I stick to my "Wednesday Weigh In" in the mornings and I'm still right on point.

To put on 3 pounds of fat you would have had to consume 10,500 excess calories so I suspect we can eliminate that as a possibility.

What you're experiencing is exactly why I don't weigh myself more than every couple of weeks - your weight will fluctuate from day to day and 2 or 3 lbs can simply be the result of water retention after a hard workout.

Having said that, at 1300 cal per day and 9hrs of exercising it sounds like you may not be eating enough. Have you calculated your TDEE?

Sodium! To gain 3 pounds you would have had to eaten over 10k in calories. I doubt you did that. Every 2 weeks I have an off day. If I've had some cocktails and higher sodium things I'll put on few lbs but quicky lose it back to my routine and drink lots of water! It's one day like I said that gain will be gone before you know it. Just keep plugging along.

Edit: like the person said above :)
