okay so i just made a carrot soup and it was SO good!
Pretty basic and im sure you guys already know this but ill put it up anyway.
3 medium carrots
1/2 onion
chicken stock.
Put some oil in a pan with onions and heat untill soft, then add seasonings of your choice. I added tumeric, cumin, corriander and black pepper.
Add in chopped and peeled carrots, then add in chicken stock and bring to boil.
Once the carrots are soft, put all into blender and hit blend
Back into pan just to warm it up, add salt and pepper to taste.
I added some shredded grilled chicken with this aswell and i loved it, so filling.
Like i said, pretty basic, but healthy and tasteyyy!
Any more recipes you guys want to share?

Was this just one serving?
I like Olive Garden's Zuppa toscana, but I need to work on bringing the fat down (skim milk, turkey sausage & bacon would help a lot).
Skinnytaste.com has some lovely recipes! I love her butternut soup, clam chowder, and the one below:

When I make homemade soups and stews, I dont record it for recipe purposes to be honest. We have always made our soups 'on the fly' and it always comes out awesome!
I use fresh made chicken/beef/vegetable/or seafood stock, fresh vegetables, fresh herbs and seasonings, and then the meats.
My husband is a big fan of my homemade french onion soup. I make a honkin' huge garlic toast/crouton for his bowl, and I melt provolone and swiss cheese on top under the broiler. My stock is a hearty beef stock with a nice red wine, chock full of onions, garlic and fresh herbs.0
