This past week I spoke to a surgeon about my belly (I was there for a possible breast reduction consultation) and he said that it was damaged skin and will take a LONG time to get it where I wanted it - if ever. I had my son 7 years ago and am wondering if anyone has lost that skin/flab at the tummy that long after pregnancy - and what did you do to lose it. I'm busting my butt trying but it just won't budge.

This is my belly and my son is only 3 so it seems I've a long way to go yet

Well I guess we both just have to keep at it.0

I have five children and have got the stomach to look flat in clothes but there will always be a bit of stretched skin there. No amount of exercise can fix that aspect. While I'd wish it away if I could it doesn't really bother me. From what I've observed most women seem to have at least some effect on their tummy when they've had babies. I suppose I could have surgery to fix it but I am choosing to accept myself as I am rather than take the risks associated with any surgeries. The point of this post - I think you can do something about it so it looks good but there will always be some leftover effects from pregnancy in most cases.0
