Is it bad to keep going over on my sugar allowance? Its usually from fruit and graham crackers (addiction).

AS long as its not processed/refined sugar and natural not sugar from syrups/dyes you should be ok. Just dont over do it. Choose fruits over chocolates ;)

I often go over mine too. But like it was just suggested above, I try to pay attention to where the sugar is coming from.
If it comes from fruit, I don't panic too much.

    Every day, I eat:

    1 apple (10)
    1 banana (12)
    1 "cutie" citrus (7)
    a few carrots (4)

My daily allotment of sugar is 30. By eating my fruit and veg, I've already blown past that by 3 on a non-exercise day. Add my breakfast (half-bagel with cream cheese) and I'm over by 8.

Even today, where I burned off 600+ calories, it only "upped" my sugars to 42, so I've got a whopping 4 sugars left.

I don't worry about them as long as most of the sugars are coming from fruits and veggies. I tend to nibble those all day long, so the sugars maintain a pretty constant level in my bloodstream - I'm not getting a "sugar high" and "withdrawal hungries" like I would on processed sugar.

Thanks for the help. I was feeling a little down about the sugars.
