Ok, I'm really trying here. I even did the search but I cant follow.
I'm just eating the calories in the green text at the top of my page.
Am I wrong? What am I missing? Why all these other letters?
BMR? TTE?? something something?
Please help me learn more.
THANKS

Bmr= basal metabolic rate. Aka what your body would burn in calories if you stay in bed and rested all day.
Tte= ?? Lol0 -
Thank you for the def.
The other letters are TTDE?
also, do I need to take this into account as to how much I get to eat?0 -
That is something people argue about on here all the time. I'm not really qualified to say.
There is an option to calculate this for you under the 'tools' toolbar. I probably would have started out with a higher calorie goal if I really understood how it worked. I am not at a place yet to increase my calories that much right now though.0 -
TDEE or TEE are Total (Daily) Energy Expenditure
your BMR is energy use at rest, on top of that you move about and use energy to digest food and maybe even exercise, so adding these things on gets you from BMR to TDEE
so perhaps 1500 calories a day BMR and 2100 calories a day of TDEE, that sort of thing.0
