Seriously, no more weigh ins for a couple months, it just confuses me when I fit into clothes better, but show a gain on the scale! I;m gonna go by old clothes, measurements and progress pics!

    Good for you!

I get so obsessed with the scale that I have my husband hide it from me! It's so stupid to get upset over a number when my clothes fit great, I feel good, and I have a ton of energy.

*hug* I think that's a good idea. Maybe monthly weigh-ins.

The frustration isn't worth your sanity :D

I'm with you! I have to weigh in weekly for a fitness program at work, but I'm gonna close my eyes!

Don't get hung up on what the scale says. Water weight fluctuates. If you lose weight, it does not mean you lost fat/muscle, it may just be water weight dropping. Same goes for gaining. I've gained as much as 8 lbs in a day - it's just water retention, and it goes away the next day or so. So relax.

With that being said, if you do want to weigh yourself - do it once or twice a week, at around the same time, and with the same level of hydration if possible. Look for TRENDS over time.
