I lost 100 lbs in 6 months. No cheat days, working out 6-7 days a week, burning 500+ calories from exercise a day :)

It took approximately 6 months: a 32% decline.

I began in December 2011 and reached the 100 lb. decline by July 2012.

I've been maintaining for a few months and now am pushing toward the final 15 lbs. and 6% body fat reduction that I'm seeking.

I lost 100 in about 12 months. But I still have a ways to go and am going to refocus and set some goals this weekend to move it...move it...move it!

I'm 7 lbs away from 100, (started a little before starting mfp) it has taken me about a year and 3 months. That's working out, 5-6 days a week, staying in my cals 95% of the time and cutting out drinking 100% (personal reasons, not weight loss related, but it did have a huge impact on the scale) I'd say I'll hit 100 even right around a year and a half. But that's with 105 to lose, if its more to lose then that it may be shorter.

It took me a year to lose around 93 lbs and I then went on maintenance that I am still adjusting as I have lost a further 6 lbs since mid May. As much as I would like to see the 100 - I really don't want to lose any more weight - so I am still doing the juggle.

Ha - I can't believe that I have actually posted that last sentence.!!!

I think how fast you lose 100 pounds depends partly on how large you are to start with. It is easier to lose that much faster when you are larger, because it represents a smaller percentage of your body weight. Losing 100 pounds when you weigh 400 is only 25% of your weight; losing 100 pounds when you weigh 225 is almost HALF your weight.

I lost my first 100 pounds in just 5 or 6 months, from August 2011 to December 2011 or perhaps January 2012 (don't remember, for sure, I think it was December). But I started at 355 pounds. I did this entirely with a radical change in my diet from junk food to super healthy food. In those months, I was mostly in bed, and couldn't exercise. Since then, I have lost another 60 pounds over the following 8 or 9 months. I am down to 195 now, which is really great, but I still need to lose another 60 or 70 pounds. I think it will take a bit longer, perhaps several more months, or even as long as a year.

I am not sure how long it took to lose 100, but it's taken a little over 2 years for the 150.

Started on March 12th 2012. Down 96 pounds on 9/28/12. Official weigh in 10/5 for this week.
I still want to lose 50 more, than re evaluate.
I am doing this by staying at or slightly under calorie amount, no cheat days, as I have had plenty of those pre-MFP, and walking with light weights.
This is really a lifestyle change for me. I am not on a diet, as Richard Simmons says, "it's a live-it".
