Sharp pain on the outside of my foot?

I randomly felt a sharp pain on the side of my left foot (the side closest to the pinky toe) while walking around my house. It hurts to walk now, and I don't really want to miss a workout because I skipped yesterday's. If this pain persists I'll probably just go biking.
Anyone experience this kind of pain before?

Try on a pair of high heel shoes. If the pain stops while you're wearing the shoes, it's likely you have tendonitis. Treat it with ice packs or frozen peas/corn (10-15 minutes on, 20-30 minutes off.) It took me almost two weeks to heal. I got it a few days after my first 10K. Wearing high heels reducing the stress on the tendon and helps it heal faster. Go figure that high heels are actually good for something.0

Same thing happened to me after my first 10K. It's pain in your "5th metatarsal". If you can avoid walking, do it, otherwise you'll be in a world of hurt.
Also invest in shoes with some cushioning. I grabbed a pair of New Balance 890s and I can run now without having to worry0 -
