Loose Stomach Skin

For some reason, I'm not able to get rid of the loose skin I have in my stomach area after having kids...think "spayed cat" here. Crunches are helping, but I'm still seeing the S-A-G.

A few other moms I know used a "corset" type thing which tucked the loose skin into the stomach ..I presume this was to increase blood circulation whilst exercising and encourage the body to "reabsorb" it. Must've worked, cause these women have six-pack abs. Still, it sounds a little weird to me. Have any of you heard of wearing something like this, and if you've HAD the spayed cat stomach, how did you get it to go away (other than a tummy tuck)? Are crunches and more core exercise the only way to fly here???
