Do I HAVE to eat the calories I exercised?

Hiya! I just signed up to MFP.
I used a different calorie+exercise counter before. My recommended daily calorie intake was 1200cals, the same as here on MFP.
However back there I never added the calories I 'won' by exercising daily. I just ate 1200cal no matter how much I exercised.
I've been doing that for about 3 weeks and I'm losing weight steady and not too fast (about 0.5-1kg a week).
I guess MFP will be telling me I'm far below my calorie needs when I add my exercise though. Is that really a bad thing, if it seems to work for me?

I'm a big fan of not fixing something that isn't broken.0 -
And average body needs 1200 calories to function minimum. If you burn these calories your body could be working on about 500 - 1200 calories a day depending....
Its up to you to listen to your body and see what works for you. Sometimes I eat mine back if im hungry but if im not I dont push it.0 -

Hey,
Acutally I saw that MFP is adding the calories you burn to your daily counter as an extra that you can eat.
But I didn't want to count it! as I think it is better to set a daily plan with or without exercising.
for example, my daily plan is 1600 kcal not more. Even if with exercise or without..
this is my personal opinion0 -
Try it for a few weeks, see how it works for you. If you notice a slow down, then go ahead and bump up what you eat.0
