Race week nerves!

So I have my first 1/2 marathon this weekend and last night was the first "nightmare" about the race. I dreamt I was running late and when I got there was at the wrong start line and then when I started running, everything was off (you get the picture).

Any tips to stay sane the next few days?!?!

    Concentrate on the things you can control. Get your gear together early. Write a checklist. Make sure you lay everything out ahead of time. Put extra socks in your bag. Remind yourself that all the hard work is done and now it's time to reap the benefits of all the training.

    x2. If you trained correctly the race is just the icing on the cake. Focus on you pacing and nutrition plan if you have one. Make sure you have all your race day needs in one place. And focus on the sloth like feeling a taper is supposed to be.
