Whipped Topping Recipe

Sorry I found the recipe it was in an old weight watcher book I picked up two weeks ago at a garage sale.
Whipped Topping Recipe:
1/2 tsp unflavored gelatin
1 1/2 tsps water
1/4 cup evaporated skim milk chilled
Artifical sweeter to equal 1 tsp sugar - variation substitue 2 tsps granulated sugar for sweetener
1/8 tsp vanilla extract

Chill a small bowl and beaters of electric mixer.
In a small saucepan sprinkle gelatin over water let stand for a minue to soften then cook over low heat , stirring constantly, until gelatin is completely dissolved. Remove from heat.
In chilled bowl combine milk, sweetener and vanilla extract beat on high speed gradually adding dissolved gelatin; continue beating until mixture stands in peaks about 5 minutes.

With sweetener per serving
7 Calories, 1 g Protein, trace of fat, 1g. carb., 9 mg Sodium

With 2 tsp sugar per serving is

    Thanks for that. Used to do one with skim milk powder but i'm betting this tastes better and is more stable. It's got to better than Cool Whip-edible oil!!??
