Chocolate milk question

Okay so I bought a gallon of chocolate milk to drink after my workout. I bought it thinking I would get to drink it. WRONG!!!! Hubby and son drank almost all of it. My question is since chocolate milk is over $3.00 a gallon would I get the same results from skim milk with a chocolate milk mix (don't know what kind and suggestions would be appreciated) or should I just fork over the $3.00+ and hope they get tired of it? No one here even touch skim milk but me.

You're looking for a carb to protein ratio of 4:1. So anything will work with skim milk: hersheys, nesquick, ovaltine ... just add however many scoops it takes to get the ratio.0

I have the same problem. I usually just fork out the money for more.0

I drink skim milk with Nesquik no sugar added chocolate flavor mix. 1 and 1/2 cups skim milk and 2 tablespoons are only 155 calories0
