I have been working hard for 7.5 months to lose weight. I started running at the end of August last year. I joined the gym in the beginning of October. I saw a personal trainer until January. All the time and effort has lead to 12 lbs lost and 7 over all inches. The numbers SUCK. But I was smart enough to take pictures. Here is what 12 lbs and 7 inches lost looks like on me.

Well done... but your pictures may need to be reduced in size because they're cutting off the after pic.

Wow, that is a big difference. I know how you feel about the numbers "sucking" but you are doing great! I've been working hard for a while now and the scale won't move but I took some measurements and hope I have lost inches. Will check next week.

Im just glad I took the pictures because I would have given up by now if I couldnt see it. I rely too much on the numbers when I KNOW thats not what is most important.

Keep it up! You're doing great and numbers aren't as important as measurments and how you're feeling! You're succeeding and you're awesome!

Progress is progress, and slow progress often means long-term success, where "quick weight loss" is often gained back immediately.

yes, in your case, measurements and photos may be the best way to keep motivated.
