Ok I was reading something the other day that said the foods that are high in Sat fat are the foods that up to 4 hours after you eat the have high risk of giving you a heart attack....is this correct? and if so how much sat fat should one have a day. This seems scary to me, I don't think I am eating a lot of them, but who knows? so i be looking to cut them out completely?
I am just asking this of anyone who kows the answers.
I could look it up but wouldn't know where exactally to start.
Thank you

Sat fat is animal fat. It can raise cholesterol however you would have to be eating 600 or more cals of sat fat for it to do so unless you already have high cholesterol. If you have been eating lean cuts of meat and fish I wouldn't concern myself that much unless you do have cholesterol that his high or you are using pan drippings, bacon grease etc for seasoning. If you go to reports it should tell you how much you are consuming and if you have been over.:flowerforyou:0
