New motivation that I didn't have before

Before I started MFP I had successfully lost weight, except I plateaued and got stuck right were I was. I was able to keep the weight off for a year, (I lost 30 pounds), but then gained 10 pounds back last semester.

This time around I actually feel that I can and will lose the weight. I have gained confidence in my weight loss this time since I was able to not only lose the 10 pounds that I had gained, but I've gone past the weight where I had plateaued. I'm also certain that part of the reason I plateaued was because I was just eating whatever I wanted without looking at what was in it.

I'm just thrilled that not only is this working but I can see my own weight loss future with the help of MFP.


Do you have any weight loss epiphanies you would like to share?
