Graze.com - your opinions?

Hi guys,

I'm still a newbie at this whole health thing but I found MyFitnessPal (woo!), which has been helpful without question! I also discovered Graze.com recently and reviewed it over at my blog: http://goo.gl/5cJUj

I've been finding it helpful since I would usually reach for the biscuits at work instead, although I've only had two boxes sent so far, and that's because they were free lol, but my MFP buddy Alex has her doubts about them.

I've noticed that they have been advertised on MFP's banner ads recently so maybe people are aware of the company, what do you guys think about Graze? Convenient? Expensive? Tasteless? Filling? Love to hear your thoughts on this :)

I've tried graze and you do need a fair bit of self control. I'm someone who will not eat it if its not there.. so having 4 nice neat little boxes of goodies sent usually means they are gone in a day, two at the most.

As for quality, convenience etc they were great. you can go online and select which ones you want to try or ones you never want to get again.. and the selection is massive.

if i could control myself when i'm bored i would still get them :)

Yeah I was worried I would just eat all of them in one day so I left in some things I'm not a big fan of when rating, that way I take all day trying to eat a box of dry fruit and nuts and don't let myself open one I want until it's done with.

Convenient and tasty - but expensive. You could do your own portion controlled boxes much cheaper.

But if price isn't an object , they're good!

Yeah I wondered about that, especially with the easier to find things like nuts. i think I'd be worried about getting carried away with the portion sizes though.

I love graze - when my family have a biscuit or 2 with their cuppa, I now like to munch away on a punnet

I really like the different boxes you can order depending on what you need - their full range, the nutritional range and the light range - I always order the light boxes since I'm obv. trying to lose weight.

I bought them as a gift once and they were well received but think they're a bit expensive for what you get.
Topcashback.co.uk offers money & a free box so worth a shot, can always cancel x

I get them every week and for me its good, because I see them as being my snack quota for the week along with fruit which I buy weekly, and I don't allow myself to buy anything else for snacks. I don't feel compelled to eat them all in one day but everybody is different and if you are inclined to do that then maybe they aren't such a good idea, especially as a lot of them contain nuts, seeds and dried fruit which are not particularly low calorie!

    This!

I think graze is a gimmick, personally. If you are committed to eating more healthy foods, then why not buy your nuts, dried fruit etc etc in the supermarket when you do the rest of your shopping and take individual portions with you too work?! I think it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive and tempting. If I had a box of graze goodies sitting on my desk, I would eat twice as much as if they were not there. You need to be educated also; a lot of people think because it is" healthy" they can eat as much as they like! This stuff is VERY high in calories and needs controlling.

I love Graze - Why dont i buy it all in the supermarket ? because I dont want to have to spend time portioning it all up and working out the calories. Also they have great choice and i've had things off them i've never seen in the supermarket. I'm willing to pay the extra for the choice and convenience.

It is a bit gimmicky, and cost is an issue for me, but I've tried things that I either would never have thought of myself, or just wouldn't be able to get in my local shops. Its very convenient, and it's not all "very high in calories" at all. There's usually a good range of calories in each box. I personally don't find it any more tempting than all the other food in the world that I have to practise self-control around! For me, the main problem with it is the cost, but I like the way you can push back your order week by week if you're not ready for the next one.
