Flavored Sunflower Seeds

First off, I am new and am just starting to pay attention to food packaging labels.
I am addicted to the flavored sunflower seeds (dill), They are soooo good,. But the package tells me they are ridiculously high in calories. I think 1 ounce is over 150 calories. Its really bad. And anyone who eats seeds knows that its hard to eat just 1 ounce. I wonder why they are so bad? I thought seeds were supposed to be good for us?

High calorie doesn't mean it's bad for you. Sunflower seeds are calorie and nutrient dense. The seeds I get have the nutritional info in terms of hulled seeds - so I measure 2 oz in the shell and call it good.0

Being a seed addict myself.... think that it takes much longer to crack and eat them then snacking on potato chips. High fiber too!! I refuse to give them up and just budget for them. Besides, they make me thirsty... great time to get a few glasses of water in.0
