Eating at maintenance a couple times a week?

Here's my situation: I'm in recovery from a binge/purge/restrict type of eating disorder. I am trying to lose weight, but I am also very concerned about stabilizing my relationship with food. Recently I have been eating really normally, getting enough calories, eating all food groups in moderation fairly well, eating when I'm hungry and stopping when I'm full, etc. For the most part I eat around 1300-1400 calories...however, a couple days each week I feel very hungry. I will try and drink tea, distract myself, chew gum, walk... but there is no denying it, I am hungry. So a couple days each week I eat around maintenance level, sometimes a tiny bit over. It is nothing like a binge, I eat good foods... but I am wondering, is it possible to lose eating like this? Since I am still in a deficit more often than not, and typically do not eat over my maintenance level (so I supposedly should not gain), will I still lose? Or will it just take a really long time?

If anyone has any experience with this please let me know!
Thanks
