Abdominal Cramps

I was doing some ab work at the end of my workout today and on the first rep of my second set I got this terrible cramp that went all the way across the top of my abdomen. When it first started i thought I would just stretch it out and move on, but I didn't go away for a solid 15 or 20 seconds after standing up and putting my hands above my head. After it went away I drank some water and walked around for a minute then It came back without even flexing my abs. The second went away after about 10 seconds. Ive had plenty of cramps before but none this bad. I'm just wondering if the problem is a deficiency in some nutrient or something along those lines, and I know its not dehydration because I drink a ton of water throughout the day. Anyone got a clue to what the problem may be?

I've heard that if you have muscle cramps you may not be getting enough potassium. You can try checking that our.. but other than that I'm not sure.. hope you figure it out soon!0
