I am trying to get motivated to move. I used to love to exercise, but for the past year, I haven't been motivated to do anything. It is also very hard for me to even try to lose weight. This is a difficult thing for me to do because some times I find that I no longer care. I do lots of emotional eating, nothing seems to satisfy me. I don't care about myself as much as I should. I am always too busy taking care of everyone else that I don't have time to take care of my self. I feel run down and dragging. Can anyone please give me some advice on how to begin? Thanks

  • Welcome :flowerforyou: This is a wonderful site.

I too have a hard time taking care of myself. It's a huge learning process for me. Think baby steps.
Take some time for you every day. Plan your meals (& snacks) & your exercise.
But take some time for you to relax as well...have a bath, read

It was June 2009 when I put my first post here. My BMI was 39.9 and considered morbidly obese. My BMI is now 34.9 and I've lost 32 pounds. I didn't report a 10 gain, didn't post until I lost it because I was ashamed. Now I wish I would have posted it so my weight loss could show the 32 pounds lost instead of 22. Does anyone know if I can change this? Does it really matter?
