runing....i love it....would love new friends who do too

hello...i have lost over 7 stone in over 2 years...my fave exercise is runing...anything up to 26 miles a week.....i would love to become friends with people who love it to:))) ive recently gained nearly over 1 stone in weight...so trying to get that off......so would love friend requsetxx

    congrats on the weight loss - i have also developed a passion for running which has deffo helped me with my 30lbs weight loss.
    i havent reached the 26 miles a week yet but you never no, done a few 5ks and got my 1st 10k in may, keep up the good work. hayley

    i am a newbie to running, trying to keep at it so i can run for much longer...how long did it take you to get used to running/fitter? its taken me a couple of weeks, i really enjoy it, and so does my dog Bruno. Add me if u like. Em.x
  • thanks 4 replying.....when i was 16 stone after having my daughter...i didnt sart runing again till i was 13 stone...then i run 4 15 mins on an evening....and built it up.....to were i am today......im doing a half marathon in sep...and great south run 10 miler..... ive increased my speed with interval training...ie 1 min fast sprint 1 min slow......the best thing i ever done was run:))))))

    I love running! Good music, some Mio Energy, and a great pair of shoes...I'm good to go! I just got back from a 6.5 mile run. :)
  • well done...i did 6 miles last night and i really pushed it with the interval training....short burst of fast runing then slow.......im aching today...big time.....im off to gym tonight for some light weights....have run 16 miles since sunday...and have a 10 miler sat to go:))))
