I'm 62 & was wondering if anyone else in that age group & what you do for exercise. After work I have a terrible time with energy & just plain don't feel like doing much at all. job is fairly physical & like most companies....it's not what you did yesterday, but what are you going to do today...... Been eating healthier than I have in years & that helps, lost 28 lbs, at a plateau now, but would like to lose more. According to charts, should be 70 more pounds, but I can't see that happening. Another 30 & I'd be happy. Just looking for ideas & maybe some inspiration. Thanks

You've got a couple of years on me (I'm 56). I work in an office so I'm usually mentally fatigued (not physically) at the end of the day. I run 4 x weekly (training for a half marathon in May), swim, bike, row, play soccer and do weights. (I started running a few years ago - I was a highly accomplished couch potato before that).

Personally I think the key is to find activities that you enjoy (sadly fishing doesn't burn a whole lot of calories but it is good for your soul) whether it's getting out for a bike ride a couple of times a week, joining your local softball team. It may sound counter-intuitive but you may even find joining a gym or pumping some iron actually makes you feel more energetic.
