Do you have a more difficult time losing weight because of your thyroid meds?
If so, what do you do to overcome those hurdles?

I have hashimotos thyroiditis-hypothyroidism..........Yes, it is a little harder but once you get your meds figured out and you exercise and eat right it will happen!

I did have hypothyroidism for most of my life. I had to have it removed 2 years ago and my metabolism is still sluggish. It is a struggle.

Your thyroid meds are there to help your thyroid to function normally so they are not making weight loss harder. Your thyroid condition in general does slow down weight loss but you do the exact same thing as any other person losing weight, just be more patient and the results will come. Good luck!

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 10 years ago. Had gained my weight before that, and lost it after. I take generic Synthroid daily.
I don't think it had much to do with my weight gain or loss.
    Just my 2 cents,
