I would have more salads, but we need to go shopping and right now, we can't, so I'm wondering, can I subsitute canned vegetables for the salad? Could I use canned corn in place of lettuce?

Really, what kind of nutrition is really in corn? Isn't it just a filler?

canned is never as good as fresh, but if it's a choice between canned or nothing, go with canned. BUT watch the sodium, those canned foods can sometimes have a lot of sodium (for preservation)

Be careful though. Canned corn, or even fresh corn, has way more calories than lettuce!
