Do you log your *ahem* activities?

I actually asked this question a couple weeks ago. The general consensus is that if it's a normal part of your life, daily, weekly, whatever, then NO. If it's something that doesn't happen often and you get a really good workout..lol...then yes. Some people called it rowing, some wrestling and one said "HIIT - Right Arm" I nearly pissed myself!
Some ppl are just aholes though and said why would you even think of logging it and a bunch of other stupid things.
To each their own.
The thing about this viewpoint (meaning it's a part of every day life and it shouldn't be logged), is that I go to the gym 3 days a week, for around an hour...religiously. Should I not log that as exercise, because it's a normal part of my daily, weekly life? Hell, it even uses that as part of the formula to determine your activity level lol.0 -
HA HA HA YOU MEAN SEX RIGHT HA HA HA GREAT QUESTION I ALWAYS WONDERED THIS AND ALWAYS HOPED THAT SOMEONE WOULD FINALLY POSE THIS QUESTION IN THE FORUM HA HA HA THIS IS GREAT THANKS HA HA HA
Finally? This question is posted every other day....
There is no need for caps lock. I feel as though you are yelling and it is making my head hurt.
He's just trolling lol. Poking sarcasm at the fact that this thread topic is brought up constantly and the responses are always the same.0 -
Do you log when you get up to go to the bathroom? Do you log when you walk into the grocery store? Do you log the calories you burn while cooking? these are all just part of everyday life as is sex. Shouldn't log a normal function of the body.
Sex is a part of everyday life?
Damn, I am living wrong.
Yep, there's probably a few of us living wrong according to that statement haha
Now.. Where's the singles thread?0 -

Can we grow up already? People have sex. Big whoop. Sex really doesn't burn that many calories. Even vigorous sex.
Chill dude....they are just having fun with it.....breathe in, breathe out...it will be okay. :drinker:0 -

I am sorry Country Boy.. I just laughed at you. Not with you. Just teasing ! You know I appreciate you! lol. But you did seriously just make me laugh out loud.0 -
How about this, we all just use our OWN personal judgement and do with our diaries what we want. Sound fair?0
-
Uh no. I log only real exercise. I view logging sex as a means to cheat on your calorie allowance and exercise. Get out and do real exercise, even if it's 10 mins of walking, you'll be in a better mindset and path to being truly committed to weight loss and fitness.

Katie, I will volunteer to wear the HRM, if you will volunteer to....ya know???0 -
when logging solo *ahem* activities, I put it down as low impact aerobics. But if I go for round two it is logged at high impact aerobics.
Seriously tho, no. no one want to see: TK 266 had burned 24 calories for 5 minutes of *ahem*, moderate effort. :laugh:0 -
Last summer my wife used her body bug during sex. We "tried" to make it last longer than normal (used a condom). It didn't really spike her HR levels. I forget the exact amount of calories it said she burned but under 60. So it wasn't worth recording. I wouldn't recommend counting on those calories burned to help with weight loss. But each to their own.0

I wouldn't log it, honestly...but it is true that when you do eat right, exercise more...your body will release the feel good endorphin that (at least in my case) makes you feel mentally good and more confident. I can be in the worst, most frustrated mood ever...angry at my fiance or frustrated with my best friend...I hop on the treadmill and elliptical, sweat it out and I feel so much better.
I then feel this surge of confidence and then I go back to my apartment and try to seduce my fiance...which has been working. : )
My best friend has also told me that I look physically better, sexier and that I have more sunshine in my personality. I am still somewhat of a voluptuous curvy girl, but I'm getting less chubby and more Joan Holloway sex-pot. And there have been no complaints what so ever. : )
So: Sex is a nifty bonus to the real exercise you're logging in. Don't use it as a substitute for real exercise, but instead keep it in the back of your mind as a secret little pocket of caloric burn!0 -

So this brings it back to an exercise debate....could this not be classed as HIIT?
