10 reasons I dont need the scale....

So, my scale seems to be stuck on the same numbers( I swear it is broken!) I was feeling pretty down about that and decided to list 10 ways I know I am getting smaller to feel better

1) When I take a bath there is more room on the sides of me- like quite a bit more room!!
2) I have no problem getting up at 445am to do Ripped in 30! I look foward to it
3) I had a problems with my boobs showing at work the other day bc my shirt has gotten so big!
4) I gave away some pants the other day b/c they were falling off!
5) I no longer need "wide" shoes
6) I'm sitting here spinning my wedding ring in a circle
7) my 7 yr old gave me a hug this morning and her hands reached all the way around my waist and then some!!!
8) I am thinking about trying contacts again b/c I don't need the glasses to "un-round" my face
9) my legs stop moving when I do!
10) I have lost 36" total from the time I started this 1.5 months ago!!!:drinker:

That was hard! Celebrate your NSV's and cheer your self up!

  • Great job!! All of the other size changes and health benefits definitely outweigh the importance of what the scale says. I hate the darn scale!!

this is awesome! I'm hoping to use your post for motivation as I have not seen a difference in the # on the scale at all yet but I know I definitely FEEL improved!

I've been wondering, does NSV mean No Scale Value by chance?

NSV means non scale victory! And that is a great list. I've actually put my scale away and I'm going to start concentrating on my measurments and how my clothes look and feel instead of the pesky number on the scale!

Thanks for posting! I am also pretty sure my scale is broken so I've been mentally collecting NSVs to feel better too. My scale varies by 10 pounds! I could literally step on, step off, and step on again and there will be a 10 pound difference with the two. I think it may be tme to invest in a new one...
