Food related sinus issues - alternatives please!

Hey all,
I've been trying to eat better these days since joining MFP, but my problem has always been breakfast - I'm not a fan of a heavy breakfast (I used to just have box cearal - sugar based yes I've gotten rid of that now). Since I normally do my 30DS early in the morning I find that I do need to fuel up so breakfast needs to be substantial. I love my oatmeal and peanut butter and almonds or almond milk since they're light enough but I've found that these wonderful foods cause my sinus problems to flare up - awful sinus headache, earaches, congestion and I prefer not to have to constantly pop pills or use nasal sprays everyday. I stay away from dairy these days too - never could tolerate regular milk anyway nor do I eat cheese. Does anyone suffer the same problems? Or can anyone offer alternatives (other than soy)?
