Thoughts on Chalean Extreme OR other exercise programs

I'm thinking about purchasing Chalean Extreme. I've done Jillian's 30DS & Ri30 various times & need a change, besides it killing my knees. Both vids worked great, lost inches & a few lbs, but I'm REALLY looking to lose body fat & gain muscle, so tell me about other exercise programs..

Chalene Xtreme is a muscle building exercise and what I read people have great results..Im doing Turbofire right now to shed a few lbs and fat then will purchase CLX and do a hybrid of the both!0

I have done Chalean and I loved it. I toned up and lost a few more lbs. ......I also love love love TurboFire.0

I'd recommend Turbo Fire too - anything by Chalene Johnson is really refreshing after Jillian Michaels yelling at you! (and I rate JM's dvds too, am just relishing the change in trainer!)0

we did ChX for her 90 day program. be sure you have excellent form or it will be hard on your knees. we had done P90 and 2 rounds of P90X, we liked Chalene cuz they weren't as time consuming.
i definitely toned up with her, but didn't loose a #

I am almost finished with week three of CLX and I love it. I'm a fan though and have done Turbo Jam before. I can't stand JM. Oh BTW Mabear, I looked at your profile, I am in Lafayette and my SIL lives in GW.0

I did the same JM videos you did, and then I got ChaLEAN. It's changed my body so much more than the JM stuff ever did. I really like JM, and I think 30DS and RI30 are great, but when you are ready to try a new challenge, ChaLEAN is an excellent option. I did ChaLEAN once through and am now doing a hybrid of it with TurboFire. Love. Chalene's style is really, really different from Jillian's. Each has its merits, but I prefer Chalene's style because it's much more motivational *to me*.0

I've done turbo fire for 12 weeks and one round of Chalene Exteme, just started the 2nd round, because I love it!
Regarding form, one thing I find with Chalene is that she constantly reminds you about form, especially in ChaLean extreme, which is really good for me. I found with jillian that she sometimes only mentions form at the end of an exercise, which for me, is a bit useless unless I've done the DVD 5-6 times.0 -
agreed, Chalean is good about reminding you on form, but the HEAVY weights she encourages make it SO important to watch your form every second. and I mean every second. one thoughtless move with 20+# can be dangerous IMHE0
