scale batteries?????

Strange question, I have always compared my wii fit scale to my bathroom scale and they have always been identical to the ounce....except today :huh: Today for some strange reason the wii scale is 6lbs less then my bathroom scale????:explode: what the heck?!?!?! so anyways what I was wondering, I have had the bathroom scale for years it is a digital one, I bought it used, and have never put a new battery in it... could a bad battery be causing the difference in weights? Not sure if this is possible or not and before running like a crazy woman to the store for new batteries figured I would ask if anyone here knew :laugh: Thank you :flowerforyou:
