Bloated stomach

I always have a somewhat bloated stomach, sometimes worse, sometimes less. Is there anything I can do about it? I think this might be a girls' problem, unfortunately... It's started to annoy me, as my stomach is flat in the morning, but after the first bite I eat it's blown up like a little balloon, and I sometimes have cramps. Help, please?

Could be IBS or a reaction to gluten or yeast. I would check with your doctor.

BUMP! I'm having the same problem!! It seriously sometimes looks like a barely pregnant belly (tho trust me, i'm not!) when I look down at it. When I flex my abs, it's flat, but otherwise my tummy is round and bloated. I'm totally in the same boat.

sometimes raw vegetables or even certain cooked veggies can do that to me... some foods just cause that reaction

I've already been diagnosed with IBS and milk intolerance. Unfortunately, there's no medicine, so I have to mind what I eat all the time, but the bloated feeling doesn't go away :(

Definitely get with your doctor. It could be any number of things.

    I get bloated from soy.
If it's that serious to you, go on an allergy diet for a while (where you don't eat any common irritants) and slowly start adding foods until you find the culprit.

I also find that eating a lot of fiber will do that too me. I love those kellogg's fiber plus antioxidants bars, but then I definitely am bloated. Maybe see if it is something you are eating...try to find any trends.

Try pro-biotics. YOu can get them in pill form in most grocery stores.

I would get checked, I had a friend who had those symptoms and she had celiac's. But a lot of different things could cause your bloating so I would definitely check with your doctor to narrow it down.
