Most unusual term you learned on MFP
I have to admit that although I consider myself somewhat educated I have never heard the term "stone" as it relates to weight prior to being on here. I still can't get used to hearing someone say, "I have lost 4 stone". But I love that I have learned something. I also never knew our friends across the pond just say thing like, "Before attending University.....". Being in America and being such a sports fan it is always OU, FSU, USC, etc...when you hear about colleges/universities. So what term have you heard that made you do a double take when you read it?

I will admit that also being from America it's interesting seeing words that get used by people in other countries i.e. bloke, crisps and lollies but some don't seem to have a place outside of the MFP Forums (or other weight loss/healthy lifestyle related sites) like NSV (Non Scale Victory), spike days, fasting days, HRM (Heart Rate Monitor), re-feed, starvation mode, eating back. It's like a whole new and separate language.0
