Sencha (green tea)

Options
It's my new best friend.

I used to drink 2-3 cups of coffee per day, and another 2 cups of Lipton/bag green tea. Because of my habit, I was also going over my sugar allowance every day.

Just this week I got some organic, loose-leaf sencha green tea (from a small health food store). It tastes WAY better than the grocery store tea bags, so I no longer need to add sugar. I feel alert but not jittery, and more productive at work.

Bonus? Loose leaf teas have higher levels of catechins and anti-oxidants than the grocery store bagged teas. Here's a good review I found:

Yep, love that stuff! I make it in my coffee maker and then refrigerate whatever I don't drink right then. It's great over ice as well. :)
