Does MFP make people flirt or do flirty people just happen to be on MFP or does the weight loss that ensues thanks to MFP lead people to be more attractive more likely to flirt! I need to know!

    Was just curious to see what this was about. :D

    I think there is more of thanks-to-MFP-I-am-more-self-confident-to-flirt. Dont get me wrong... I see occasional shady people, but Im thankful that they are just the minority.

    I think sometimes my friendliness comes off as flirtiness... not just on MFP either... can be such a bad thing

    I mentioned this earlier to a coworker but I think that when people get fit and loose weight it gives them some added confidence.

    I've noticed that too and i love it! Even when there are couples on here, they're both on the flirty side. Although I will say that it does make it hard for a single girl like me cuz a nice guy will make a flirtatious comment and then the reality is that he's married lol

    I never flirt in real life and if I am flirting I'm too naive to realize it. haha I have flirted with guys online before. For me it's easier and less intimidating. Plus it's hard to feel rejected by someone you don't even know.

    Who doesn't love to flirt? I think a lot of us who hadn't come out of our shell for a while find it safe to play here - where we're all in pretty much the same place.

    Of course, I had hoped to come on this thread and find lots of flirting going on!

    Lol, Id like to know as well. There's a fair amount of flirting that I see here, but I think that it's bc it's online and it's not gonna (hopefully) get anyone in trouble. Plus I think some of the flirting is to encourage one another.
    I mean, let's be honest, even if it's from someone on the computer, it sure does feel good to get a compliment ;)

    its hard to not be friendly with people i talk to more then in real life. i know what they eat, get updates, and talk about once a day. people on here become close friends, some of them feel comfortable enough to talk like that, and then you have others who wont ever. it depends on the people. personaly it holds me acountable. ik i want to eat good, and have good workouts. if someone attractive is looking at it, thats maybe a bit more motivation haha.
