New to MFP and looking for friends to help motivate me! :)

Hi everyone, i'm new to the site and have been here about two days now. It was a bit overwhelming at first but I think that i'm slowly getting more understanding of how it all works. However, I would still love to make friends who would help motivate me a little more and give pointers and ideas of what I might be able to do. i'm 29 years old married with 3 children. I am starting this whole journey out at 127 lbs. I know right, what's this crazy chick complaining about? I'm a 4ft 11inches and 127lbs for me is sooo uncomfortable!

The starting weight i had before I had all three of my children was a whopping 98lbs and that was OK, i wasn't overly skinny, I was actually fairly healthy and i was comfortable in my own skin. After I had the third, though, the weight just didn't want to drop off and i've been sitting in the 120's and i've been slowly watching it go up which has freaked me out completely. My goal weight is to lose 22lbs and be at a comfortable 105lbs in 10 months! I know with some motivation, some kick in the *kitten* I can do it. I would also LOVE to get my body more toned than it currently is. In fact, to take before pictures makes me want to cry a little on the inside. I'm hoping to find friends here with similar goals and hopefully just have a rocking good time learning and feeling great!

Also I need more people to kick my tush when i'm feeling lazy or too achey!

We started about the same time,I've been on MFP 3 days. I didn't find it overwhlming but i was surprised at how fast the calories add up...when I've lost weight in the past, i never counted calories but just cut out "bad foods", watched portions and added exercise (which I have to do slowly due to fibromyalgia). I understand about how you feel...the shorter we are, the more weight gain shows and feels. I am 5'4" but even a 5 lb. gain makes me go up a size. Due tp health problems in 2008, i gained weight and I weigh more now than I ever have. I did lose 18 lbs. on my own but gained some back on due to needing to take prednisone. Feel free to add me, I enjoy meeting new people and can also use the motivation!!
