Weight loss question

I seem to have a really erratic weight loss pattern - I have been fairly consistent with my diet and exercise over the past few months but can go 2 weeks without losing anything then suddenly drop 3-4 lbs at once. Does this happen to anyone else? I am not too worried as I am losing weight overall but it just seems a little strange!

Does something coincide with the loss? Do you normally eat very little, then eat extra for several days? Are you exercising more or differently? Is it after days of rest? There has to be some sort of correlation.0

Weight loss is not consistent so I would say it is normal. I also never had consistent losses. I would lose 1 pound, then nothing for a couple weeks, then I would lose another 1-2 pounds (sometimes 3). As long as the overall trend is going down and you are not stuck for months at one weight, I wouldn't sweat it.0
