MFP Goals or TDEE?

I would just like to hear your opinions about this and possibly what's worked best for you.
I went from 180lbs to the 145lbs that I am now. I did get down to 129lbs in 2010 but regained 10-15lbs after that... and have pretty much hovered around 140-145lbs for almost a year. Of course this has also been due to some poor food choices but continued exercise...
To lose any weight it takes me staying at 1200 calories daily (as MFP suggests for me) and workout 5-6 a week for me to even barely lose a pound. I do eat a couple hundred more calories or so on workout days. I have my MFP set to sedentary because I don't do much of anything through the day except for my two hours when I work out.
Anywho, so my question is, should I customize my calories to my TDEE calories (which an online calculator says is 1772) or should I just keep it to the recommended 1200 calories from MFP?
Thanks for the help!
