When I was cutting weight, I'd at least try to have a cheat meal once a week where I could have some ice cream or something good. I feel like it was a helpful tool to staying on track, because it's a difficult thing to do mentally.
Now that I'm gaining weight, and have the freedom to eat whatever I want, I've made fairly good food choices.
I guess you want the junk you can't have.0 -
I like to give myself a cheat day to give myself a break from scrutinizing over calories and splurge on foods I don't normally allow myself to eat. I find that the longer I'm on MFP (I've been on and off for like two years now), the less I end up splurging on my cheat days.
Plus I think the excess calories one day a week keeps your body changing in terms of metabolic workouts.0
