I have eaten EXTREMELY bad over this past week and I have gained a few pounds. I have been eating BBQ food birthday food and CAMP food. So all carbs fat and grossness.
HELP! Give me advice on what I can do to lose it fast and get back to how I was before this horrible week started.

You probably didn't gain as much as you think, remember 3500 calories is one pound. Don't stress about it just up your workouts this week but we all fall off the wagon sometimes!

eating badly for a week usually doesn't put on a few pounds (not unless you went off the deep end and ate like 2 or 3 extra full meals a day for a week or so), what probably happened is all that food had lots of sodium in it, your body, which is no longer used to high sodium, retained extra water, and you feel big, bloated, and bad.
Not to worry, a couple of days of healthy eating and a few rounds of exercise and that should go away. That's my guess anyway.0 -

Thanks for that info....that was the most helpful thing I read this week - exactly when I needed to hear it.
Whew, I know what you mean about the bbq, birthday and camp food. It's so hard to resist when youre hungry and there's nothing else but grease and junk to eat. I've learned my lesson....I'm going to start packing my own food when I have to go to a party or bbq.
So....drink lots of water to help flush the sodium out of your body!!0 -

I just told a friend the same thing. I also said I wouldn't even weigh till a week or two after. I know that if I have a few days of not the greatest eating the scale will show a higher number. Why see it and even think I might have gained when in reality I haven't. It's all a live and learn process.0
