Yeha I am sure the first few were just water weight. But I have always been blessed with really fast metabolism; but I am sure the next 8 will take about a month or so. I will probably gain weight some days.1

Well I hope I have some more water weight LOL and I will take 10lbs in that thank you
So do you exercise? I am assuming that is you golfing?
dd0 -
I exercise a little bit everyday....than practice golf. (I also wait tables at night 3-4 nights a week) combine that with playing sometimes; I am on my feet a lot which probably helps. Eating is my problem I cna eat BIG TIME!0

I think we all can! Or I know I can...teehee.
Well welcome and best of luck.

I'm new to this too-doing it now for about 3 days. I love seeing how many calories and fat I consume. It's funny bcz I dont exceed my fat gram goal but I've exceeded my sugar goal everyday! Not by a lot, but still... Maybe now that I know what my problem is, I can work on it. Today I'm so hungry (happens once a month to every woman :grumble: ) and I just want to eat & eat. I don't eat bad food...but empty carbs will hurt me. I'm glad it's available as an app on my droid. I enter the foods within a few minutes of consumption. Good luck everyone!0

I've been on this site for only two weeks and already lost 6 lbs. The calorie counting really helps me fully understand what I'm putting into my body. It has helped me to make better choices in what I eat every day. I love this site!!!0

Just found this free app for my new iPad. I am looking for help and encouragement to become healthier. I have a bad back and if I could lose some weight I think it will help some. Any suggestions on foods and exercises. Simple foods not a cook. Thanks.0

That's great! I just started using this site yesterday, and so far it seems amazing!! Congrats on losing those 7 pounds!0

I just found this app on my iPad 2 days ago. I have been eating healthy and excerising daily since October 2011 and I have currently lost 45 pounds. I have though hit a Plato so I am hoping that if I record everything I do I can see where I need to adjust so the weight can start falling off once again. So far I really like this app. It's easy to follow and most of the foods I eat are listed. The ones that aren't listed. I know the calorie count by heart.0

This is to reply to debra I would like to say welcome to a new you. I would start off walking. It's low impact and it would be easier for your back. Start off slow maybe going around your block and add to it a little bit each day as you get stronger. Dropping 10 to 15 pounds will probably make your back feel a lot better. As for food. I follow the food prymid. I eat the rainbow. I include all colors of the rainbow throughout the day. It has really seem to work for me. Natural food is best. Limit processed foods and of course refine carbs. ( cakes. Cookies. Etc). Another hidden gem. Is safflower oil. You can buy it at any grocery store where you find cooking oil. It has no taste and it's high in antitoxiants it also aids in weight loss by Erving up your brown fat and your metabolism. I suggest you research it for all the benefits. I use it for anything I would use olive oil for including salad dressing. I hope this information helps and good luck.1

Hi,I am here because loosing weight is such a struggle alone.I want to communicate with others who have the same problem that I have and understand how I feel about the weight issue.I have spent my whole life tring to loose weight. I have gotten stuck on my weight loss journey .I did weigh 363 lbs. in 1995.I had the gastric bypass surgery done then and after three years i had to have it reversed because the ring was too tight and I still had to peree everything. So started to eat junk food again because I went down very easy.I had lossed about 100 lbs before I started all of the wrong foods that was easy to go down.I gained about 50 lbs. back before the reversal. The ryn was done in1998.Then I was able to eat meats again and every ting ,nothing had to be pereed again. I eat healthy most of the time but I do have a treat once oin a while. I try to exercise when my health allows 3 days a week.I have lost a total of 154 lbs. and want to loose at least 25 more.0

I've been at this for 4 weeks and I've lost 11 lbs. I'm completely addicted.0

I have just started this on Wednesday and at first I didn't think it was going to work because my will power is no good unless I see improvement. I try to push my self and exercise 2 hrs during the week but I find it hard because I broke my back when I was 17 and I have a bad knee. Walking even bothers it but I pushed my self so hard I lost 2.5 lbs and I'm addicted. I think my wake up call was I got on a scale Tuesday and realized I have gained 30 lbs since me and my fiancée had met. That's when I decided its time to start losing weight. I've always been on the chubby side and I'm just excited to reach my goal even though I still have 38 lbs to go. So If anyone has any good reciepes that don't include any other animal besides chicken that's b great because salads are getting old fast0

I Just started today. I was in shock when I realized how much fat and extra calories I've been eating. My goal is to lose 10 pounds:happy:0

1200 is the number it gives you to have a calorie deficit and promote healthy weight loss. As a rule of thumb my wife and I do not eat all the calories we are allowed each day. You will also notice that as you workout and add it to your daily dairy that you earn calories. I for example am allowed 2100 caloric intake per day. I strength train 5 days a week, I do not put those calories against my daily exercise burn. I do however track all my cardio exercising and place that against my daily intake. It is good to always leave a little leeway in the daily intake. I hope that this helps.0
