Does anyone know how to figure out calories burned from strength training. I started with my personal trainer today. Logged all my exercises weights and reps. MFP gave me a dash like I burned nothing. Impossible with the sweat pouring off me. Thx everyone in advance

In the cardiovascular section there is a "strength training" option available. I use that one.0

I ran into the same thing. I use a combination of the strength training option under cardiovascular as well as calculating calories burned using my HRM.0

Thanks. Much appreciated.0

I spend 1 to 1 1/2 hours per day 4 to 5 days per week in the gym doing strength training. However, I do not calculate my calories burned from this exercising because it is hard to figure out the actual time you spend lifting and actually engaging in real calorie burn. I just track the sets, weight and repetitions completed each day.0
