so far I have only lost 7lb's BUT i have shocked people over and over again.. they say "ONLY 7lb's ? it looks like so much more!" How are these NSV'S possible? While i have been working toward weightloss I have been doing 30 day shred and ripped in 30, and have lost serveral inches in the process. this being said I will never ever try losing weight again solely by cutting calories, it will always include strength training and cardio!
have a wonderful day

When you're exercising you tone muscle which tightens everything up, you build muscle and you burn fat. Muscle is much more dense than fat, so 1 pound of muscle is much smaller in size than 1 pound of fat. You can lose size and reshape your body without ever losing a pound. Progress pics and / or body measurements are a very good way to track your overall progress because the scale won't always move like we all want it to.
BTW, you look fantastic in you profile pic!0 -

I reduced my BF by 10% and I've gone down almost two trouser sizes; and I lost inches all around since late Jan. However, the scale says I lost 4lbs. Lots of weight lifting and some cardio on the eliptical, and on non-sym days taking a 40-60 min bike ride or walk.
Enljoy it! And yes, you look great!0 -
thanks everyone
