How short do you wear your shorts? How short is too short?

    I haven't worn real shorts in years, but best believe, when I get to my goal weight I am going to be rocking "coochie cutters"...LOL!

    Despite rebelling against it my whole Catholic school career, I find myself still wearing shorts that meet the "fingertips" rule. But I have big thighs that tend to eat shorts if they are too short.

    Depending on my confidence, sometimes I'm comfortable with wearing booty shorts. But, mostly I just wear them up to around my knees or a bit shorter.

    hahahaha - just had thins predicament last night, trying on tonight's outfit. Turns out I'll go shorter with my skirts that I will with my shorts, which makes NO sense whatsoever! lololol

    A couple of inches above the top of my knee...not too short. Butt cheeks threatening to make an appearance...too short.

    I usually wear mine I'd say with about a 3" inseam for Casual jean shorts....my work shorts though are knee length dressy ones. I don't like the mid thigh ones for me so I have to go one way or the other.

    I'm the same way... I think it's because shorts ride, where skirts pretty much stay in place unless ya bend haha. I found out that the other night I better not bend over but squat in my skirt cus my husband informed me that my bum was very well seen haha.

    I prefer capris in general (covers my tattoo, which I prefer to do for work), but when I wear shorts I wear them probably an inch or two above the knee.

    I hate my thighs at the moment, so knee length/few inches above the knee for me.
    But when I'm 130 lbs, I might just bare my legs!

    I dont like hoochie shorts yet but i wear mine pretty short. I do however get annoyed when they get sucked in between my thighs in the middle. My thighs are shrinking soo much though :)

    Mine are pretty short, they don't quite meet the fingertip rule.
    However I have big thighs that tend to push shorts up higher and make them shorter soo..
    But I always tend to go shorter with skirts than shorts as someone else mentioned - I feel like it's just more flattering and as long as your butt isn't hanging out - then you're okay. (Depending on where you are of course for example, church vs. night club)

    I think one should take their age and weight into consideration when deciding on how short.

    I used to wear them to the knee, because I was ashamed of my huge thighs....but one of my goals/rewards for myself this summer is to rock short shorts! No shorter than a 3" probably, but we will see.

    Well al my shorts are considered short....I have freakishly long arms so my fingertips reach way past my hems.

    I have little shame. If they cover the half inch to inch of flub under my butt cheeks, we're good to go.

    Now obviously, I wouldn't go wearing shorts that short to anything fancy...

    I think it depends on my weight, right now i wouldnt wear them but when i was at my lightest i wore some which came just below my *kitten* cheek lol! x

    I usually prefer 3.5'' or 3''. Anything more looks gross on me, since it hits mid thigh.
