I have always been good at sit-ups still got a ways to get to my college amount but at 2 mins I am still doing a good pace the number a min will go down with each min of doing them LOL That's good or so I think on running 2 miles in 13 mins. I will have to try and run 2 miles and time it. Normally I am walking at work and then the rest of my work outs I have my 3 yr old so I don't ever run just chase after him LOL

    2miles: about 24 minutes
sit-ups (I did this with 50 lbs resistance, so not sure it's accurate for these purposes): 45
no push-ups. I lack upper body strength, but I'm working on improving it.

This challenge is the Army Physical Fitness Test (go to http://www.army-fitness.com/index.php). The link will give you the standards by gender and age group.

For me, a male 52 years old will score 100 points for each event if he can do 59 pushups in 2 minutes, 66 sit-ups in 2 minutes and run 2 miles under 14:42.

You must score at least 50 on each exercise to pass APFT and graduate Basic Combat Training. I must do at least 11 pushups, 21 sit ups and run 2 miles in 21 minutes.

Go to the Army site and see what you need for a perfect score of 300. Then challenge yourself to be Army strong.

    My results:

    pushups 40 score 82
    Situps 35 score 67
    run 15:36 score 93
Total score 232 out of 300
