Today it's Strawberry because it's my boss' birthday.

Cheesecake is a huge favorite of mine and in a hour we'll be celebrating - I'm doing my best to stay away but really don't know if I'll have the willpower!

Stay strong, it's not worth it. Yesterday I was tempted with Ice cream cake, which is till in the freezer at work  But, I managed to get over it and say no and I feel so much better about it. :glasses:

If it's your favorite, maybe look up the calories on here and see if you can afford some. Even just a few bites might make you feel like you're not depriving yourself. On the other hand, if the calorie count is ridiculous, you can skip it, and feel good that you've done yourself a favor by avoiding it.

Life without cheesecake? :noway: I'd say have a small slice and work it off later. Food isn't bad, imho, it's how we just don't work it off that packs on the pounds. I mean as long as you're not eating it everyday. Who knows, maybe three bites will be enough :)

If you love cheesecake...try these! They are super Yummo and the kiddos even liked them!

1 (8 oz.) Package Fat Free Cream Cheese, softened
    1/3 Cup Powdered Sugar
    2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
    44 Medium Strawberries, whole
    1/2 Cup Graham Cracker Crumbs

In a small mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy, set aside. Using a paring knife, hollow out the top of each strawberry to a depth of approx. 3/4 an inch. Gently fill each with cream cheese mixture using a pastry bag just slightly above the tops. Place them on a cookie sheet(s) as you do this. Once all of the strawberries are filled, dip each top into the graham cracker crumbs and place back onto the cookie sheet(s). Place the cookie sheet(s) into the refrigerator and leave them for a few hours or over night to completely chill.

I had to spend my entire day resisting about four dozen chocolate chip cookies from this really awesome market. I did really well all morning, until I actually had to walk past them. After that, it was BRUTAL! I just kept thinking that I'd have to run an extra mile and a half tonight if I ate one. I did make it through the whole day. I'm home now and about to go on that run

Share a piece with someone/have half a piece/have a bite or two..... then cut back at dinner and/or exercise a little more today.

I dont believe in depriving yourself, especially if it's your favorite.

My husband and I went out to outback last night, and EEEEK I allowed myself to have a few bites of the Bloomin Onion (yes it's TERRIBLE for you, but it's OH SO yummy.) I just made sure that the rest of my meal (Salad, small steak and steamed veggies) was as low cal as I could get.

The Cheesecake = The Devil. Seriously. If we had it in the house, I'd be like the Golden Girls, munching on it at all hours of the day. Stay strong! Cheesecake is awful for you but it's so yummy. To keep from eating stuff like that, I picture what I want to look like in a swimsuit versus what I look like now (Shamu...My bathing tent is black). So far, it's worked every dang time.
