I have a colostomy bag , but i am big around my stomach & I need to shift the weight so I started Jillian Michaels 30DS last week ( on day 4 level 1 today ) and I also do 30 - 60 mins a day on a stationary bike every other day, but it is affecting my stomach muscles by pushing the stoma out ( sorry i didnt know how otherwise to describe the problem! ) so I think I need low impact exercises to do! but not sure of what to do any1 have the same problems? or any suggestions? do u think I should carry on with DS or not or just do it every other day? thanks

    How about just plain walking?

Thats a pretty low impact exercise that shouldn't affect the stoma too much.

Hi, I've recently had ankle ligament injury and was told to do only very low impact exercises for the next few weeks-months. One low impact exercise which was recommended by a therapist was walking. If you have a treadmill make sure that the speed does not exceed 4.0 but you can raise the gradient up to 15. And swimming is definitely low impact. I'm doing this and so far it's not doing any more damage to my poor ankle! Good luck to you!
