Not cool. Talk about a clingy boyfriend/husband to not even let the girls enjoy a girls night.

depends. Is the guy the stripper?

If not, a guy's got no business to be at a hen party!!!! Same with girls, shouldn't be at a stag do either!

Nobody said that it was the boyfriend or husband of anyone. I mean, I am totally having my best friend at my bachelorette party. He rocks!

Is he a gay friend? I think that for me that changes the rules. Kind of like at a toy party, why shouldn't your gay best friend be allowed? He might like the same stuff you do...

If not gay, then why would he even want to??

    *Edited for typo.

I was a best girl at my guy friend's wedding. I planned the best bachelor party ever. I say if he's important to the bride/she's important to the groom, they should be there

this! All of my friends are guys and Ive been to my fair share of bachelor parties.
If its the soon to be spouse and they just want to watch over the shenanigans..... no! and then they should also skip the nuptials because the trust/control issues will get them later anyhow
  • Isn't the point of a bachelorette party to have fun with your friends? Who cares what gender those friends are.

Err I went to my friends "bachelorette party" which consisted of going to a restaurant and giving her risque gifts.

Would be awkward to go to Chippendale's though =P.

We had a girl in our group...5' tall and scared she would blow away in a breezee....biggest party animal ever...soo glad she came on about 4 or 5 stag do's, cause otherwise it would have been down to me to liven thing up.:glasses:

..the other way...down to the bride I guess:smile:

Not enough information. Too many variables that are left up to speculation.

Agreed, same goes for the reverse. Only a fool would go to one in hopes of getting laid. A time to sit back, with a beer or something harder... and make memories. Would you count your guy/lady friends out of a friends night out on the town? or a birthday party? Just because they are a different gender. If so, then your probably getting married for the wrong reason...
